Whoo~
Now I just have to figure out how to use it. I’m still not entirely sure how I’m supposed to do this, and I’ve abandoned pretty much every other blog I’ve ever had.
Maybe I’ll hang on to this one? Who knows? Only time will tell.
In the meantime, having the vaguest of understandings of how this site works, I think I’m supposed to list my interests or something so people know what I’ll be talking about. So… I’m gonna do that now.
Proper spelling and grammar (more spelling), foreign languages (especially Spanish and Japanese), computers / technology, video games, pasta, animals, tea, reading, sleep, flowers and trees, long hair, teetotaling, writing / drawing / painting / sculpting / sewing / creating in general, classic rock, photography, chopsticks, lava lamps, Metroids, cosplay, rice cakes, mechanical pencils, kitties, Pokémon, White Mages, boots, betta fishies, hitting people I care about with ASCII boats, tie-dye, the unknown, the paranormal, dictionaries, candles, Japanese culture, abusing the useless discovery of the barcode algorithm, nostalgia, Trogdor, Burt’s Bees, trains near my house, pallor, over-the-knee socks, absentmindedly poking holes in things, octopuses, destroying alarm clocks in my sleep, swimming in indoor pools, insomnia, accidentally becoming nocturnal, thrift stores, nightdrunkenness, eccentricity, Nutella, all things shiny, logic puzzles, Nintendo, eclectic Christianity, parkour, people who eerily resemble their pets, most fruit juices, ninja, square-shaped waffles, hoarding useless though sentimentally significant objects, thunderstorms, green peppers, ocarinas, Q-Tips, corsets, HTML, swords, procrastinating, making jewelry, the idea of cats riding on larger animals’ backs, Skechers, carrying around WAY more stuff than I need, getting confused, cardboard boxes, shuriken, duct tape, shuriken made out of duct tape, most shades of blue and gray, and much, much more.
tl;dr: I love cats and video games, listen to Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin (as well as video game music), and I can be quite verbose.
Don’t be surprised if I blog a lot of kitties and Pokémon.
EDIT (7-6-2010): As I’ve linked to this post as a reference in my header, I might as well put more stuff here for everyone’s perusal, although this post is probably already tl;dr as it is.
Music:
Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Jethro Tull, Pearl Jam, FAKE? / Oblivion Dust, Deep Purple, Bob Dylan, The Minibosses, The OneUps, Ozzy / Black Sabbath, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blue Öyster Cult, Van Halen, Queen, Grand Funk Railroad, Yes, Styx, KISS, Kansas, Nirvana, The Beatles, Ayumi Hamasaki, The Doors, Heart, REO Speedwagon, Jimi Hendrix, Limozeen, Taranchula, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Eric Clapton / Cream, Frank Zappa, Crash Test Dummies, ZZ Top, Soundgarden, The Black Mages, Weird Al Yankovic, Creedence Clearwater Revival, David Bowie, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Utada Hikaru, Metallica, The Rolling Stones, Counting Crows, Journey, Collective Soul, Foreigner, Boston, Stone Temple Pilots, The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Who, Nightmare, Maximum the Hormone…
In summary, I mostly like classic rock, but sometimes I get in the mood for nineties music for the nostalgia factor. I’ve been trying to get more into J-Rock recently, but I don’t have a lot of contact with people who can turn me on to new stuff, so I keep listening to the same old stuff over and over. Oh well.
I also really like video game music (I believe it actually takes up close to the majority of my collection, or at least it used to), due to my love of video games. Therefore:
Video Games:
The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Pokémon, Megaman, Final Fantasy (up to IX, anyway), Chrono Trigger, Cave Story (Doukutsu Monogatari), Super Smash Bros., Portal, Resident Evil, Sonic the Hedgehog (specifically Sonic 3 & Knuckles), Kingdom Hearts, Ecco the Dolphin, Halo, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Tetris, Star Fox, Elite Beat Agents, osu!, Street Fighter, Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat, Wipeout, Mass Effect, F-Zero, Mirror’s Edge, Metal Gear Solid, Brain Age, Tomb Raider (oh, hush), Electroplankton, Ace Attorney, Left 4 Dead, Monster Hunter, Team Fortress 2, and… well, there are a lot more, but these are mostly whole series anyway. ^^;
Movies:
Wall-E, Up, Forrest Gump, The Dark Knight, Grease, Hairspray (2007), Shutter Island, Fight Club, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Lion King, The Wizard of Oz, State of Play, The Fountain, Pi, RENT, 21, Iron Man, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog…
I don’t really watch much TV at all, so the list of movies will have to suffice. People usually assume I’m some hardcore anime junkie, and although I attend an anime convention every year, I’m not obsessed with it or anything. I’m far more game-oriented as far as the conventions are concerned. I do watch anime and read manga when it is presented to me, but not even enough to bother listing here. I wouldn’t mind seeing more; it’s mostly I’m just too poor to indulge such a hobby outside of what I can find for free online.

Okay! I’ll spare you now. Thanks for reading, if you bothered~!
